Please reach us at Info@tenbychiropractic.co.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We help people with a wide range of musculoskeletal problems, including back pain, sciatica, neck pain and stiffness, headaches related to posture or muscle tension, shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle pain, sports injuries, and arthritis-related stiffness. There are many more conditions not listed, please contact us to find out how we can help you.
No referral is needed. You can book directly online. We also accept referrals from GPs, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals if you’ve already seen someone else.
Your first visit includes a full case history, physical examination, and any relevant diagnostic tests such as musculoskeletal ultrasound (if clinically indicated and desired) . You’ll receive a clear explanation of your findings, diagnosis, and recommended care plan.
That depends on your condition, how long you’ve had it, and your individual goals. Some people feel better after just a few sessions, while others with longer-standing or complex issues may need a more structured plan. We’ll always review progress and adjust care as needed - no unnecessary long treatment plans.
Yes. Chiropractic care is well-regulated in the UK and is considered very safe when provided by a qualified, registered chiropractor. We follow evidence-based guidelines and ensure all treatments are appropriate for your health and comfort.
We use a combination of manual therapy (such as joint mobilisation or manipulation), soft tissue techniques, and exercise-based rehabilitation. We also offer diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound when needed (and desired) to help confirm or guide your diagnosis.
Yes - we provide private musculoskeletal ultrasound scans for joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments (for example, shoulder, knee, or ankle injuries). These scans are performed by our chiropractor, who holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Musculoskeletal Medical Ultrasound, the only recognised medical ultrasound qualification in the UK.
Please wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing that allows easy movement and access to the area being assessed or treated.
You can book your first new patient appointment online. Ongoing treatment appointments are booked and paid for in advance. We accept card payments. Some private health insurers may reimburse part of your care, please check your policy for details.
We’re located on Warren Street in Tenby, inside the Lewis & Lewis Solicitors building. The clinic is just a short walk from the multi-storey car park and the train station, with limited on-street parking nearby.
Treatment is normally comfortable and pain-free, though you may feel some discomfort if an area is already inflamed or sensitive. In those cases, your chiropractor will always adapt the treatment to suit your comfort level.
You might hear a clicking or popping sound during an adjustment - this is completely normal and simply the release of tiny gas bubbles from the joint, much like cracking your knuckles.
Some people experience temporary post-treatment soreness, similar to how you might feel after exercise. This usually settles within a day or two.
If at any point you feel unsure or uncomfortable, please let your chiropractor know — your comfort and confidence are always our priority.
No - we do not provide chiropractic treatment during pregnancy, as our focus is on musculoskeletal care outside of pregnancy-related cases.
However, we do help many people after pregnancy, supporting recovery from postural changes, muscle or joint discomfort, and the physical demands of caring for a new baby.
If you’re currently pregnant and experiencing pain, we recommend speaking with your midwife, GP, or a chiropractor or physiotherapist who specialises in prenatal care for tailored support.
