If you are a new patient (and you're NOT being referred to us for ultrasound scanning from another provider) this is the appointment type to book. It will last around 60-75 minutes and includes a thorough case history taking, review of your medical history, physical examination, a report of our findings and recommendations, and will often include a first treatment too (depending on the findings of our assessment and your preferences).
Follow-up appointments are 15-30 minutes long. They typically feature treatment and are used to provide you with ongoing care beyond the initial consultation.
This appointment type is for patients who have already had an initial consultation with us. In this 45-minute appointment we cover any new complaints you may have developed that you would like us to look at.
A scan appointment lasts for up to 60-minutes. It will include us taking a brief case history, physical examination and a detailed ultrasound scan, with a full written report detailing the findings of the scan.
If you are being referred to us for scanning by another healthcare professional please ensure they have contacted us BEFORE booking your scan. If you are self-referring, please book an Initial Consultation appointment with us - this is so we can assess your suitablity for scanning.
BOOKINGS
We want your visit to run as smoothly as possible. Please take a moment to read the following key information regarding building access and our cancellation policy.
✔ Most patients book and pay online - this guarantees your appointment straight away.
✔ If you book your next appointment with Ben during your visit but are unable to pay at the time, your appointment will be held provisionally for 24 hours.
✔ To confirm your space, full payment is required within 24 hours of booking.
✔ If payment isn’t received within that time, your appointment may be released for other patients to book.
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
We kindly ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the slot to other patients who may be waiting. Our refund policy is as follows:
✔ 48 hours' notice or more: Full refund provided
✔ 24 to 48 hours' notice: 50% refund provided
✔ Less than 24 hours' notice: Unfortunately, no refund is available
For Monday appointments: Cancellations must be made by 11:59pm on the Friday before to qualify for a full refund.

BUILDING ACCESS - BEFORE & AFTER HOURS
The building's front door is locked outside of standard reception hours, which are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (excluding lunch hours).
If your appointment is:
✔ Before 9:00am
✔ Between 1:00pm and 2:00pm
✔ After 5:00pm
The door will be locked. Please wait at the main entrance and a member of our team will come to let you in.
Thank you for your patience - this system is in place because the building does not have reception staff outside of these hours.
