If you are a new patient, this is the appointment type to book. It will last around 60-75 minutes and includes a thorough case history taking, review of your medical history, physical examination, a report of our findings and recommendations, and will often include a first treatment too (depending on the findings of our assessment and your preferences).
Follow-up appointments are 15-30 minutes long. They typically feature treatment and are used to provide you with ongoing care beyond the initial consultation.
This appointment type is for patients who have already had an initial consultation with us. In this 45-minute appointment we cover any new complaints you may have developed that you would like us to look at.
A scan appointment lasts for up to 60-minutes. It will include us taking a brief case history, physical examination and a detailed ultrasound scan, with a full written report detailing the findings of the scan.
If you are being referred to us for scanning by another healthcare professional please ensure they have contacted us BEFORE booking your scan. If you are self-referring, please book an Initial Consultation appointment with us - this is so we can assess your suitablity for scanning.
We always begin with a New Patient Consultation to assess your condition and determine whether an ultrasound scan is clinically indicated. Please book under New Patient Consultation (not Ultrasound Scan).
If a scan is required, there is an additional £115 fee, making the total £175 for both consultation and scan on the same day. A consultation and scan together will last up to 60 minutes.
Bookings & Cancellations Policy
At Tenby Chiropractic, we value your time and always do our best to run on schedule. In return, we kindly ask that you help us respect our team’s time and the time of other patients by following our booking and cancellation policies.
Pre-payment required:
All appointments must be prepaid at the time of booking.
(This includes chiropractic treatments, new patient consultations, and ultrasound scans.)
Preferred booking method:
Booking online via our website is the fastest and easiest way to secure your appointment.
Phone bookings:
For patients without internet access, we’re happy to take bookings over the phone. Please be aware, our phone lines are not manned full-time but we closely monitor missed calls and voicemail messages.
In-clinic payments:
Card or cash payments can only be taken during a scheduled appointment.
We cannot accept walk-in payments outside of appointment times.
Appointment-only clinic:
We do not accept walk-ins - all visits must be booked in advance.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 48 hours’ notice so we can offer your slot to another patient.
Easy cancellation: Use the link in your booking confirmation email to cancel quickly and securely.
Chiropractic follow-ups: The full appointment fee will be charged for late cancellations or missed appointments.
New patient consultations & ultrasound scans:
Prepaid deposits are non-refundable if cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice.
We understand that life happens, and sometimes emergencies arise.
For cancellations made within the 48-hour notice period, we offer a one-time goodwill option to reschedule without losing your payment, provided that:
1.The new appointment is booked to take place within 7 days of the original date.
2.No further rescheduling is permitted for that appointment.
3. No refunds can be issued for that appointment if it is cancelled.
