You will be asked to provide ongoing consent for recording and storage of this information at your initial consultation. You reserve the right to refuse audio recording during appointments with the understanding this may slightly slow down the appointment as either digital or physical written notes are compiled and stored instead.

We collect your information to deliver safe, appropriate care, book appointments, communicate with you, and fulfil our legal obligations as regulated healthcare professionals. Without these details, we cannot provide effective healthcare services.
How We Store and Protect It:
All data is stored on secure, GDPR-compliant systems through third party online service providers. We use encryption and multi-factor authentication to prevent unauthorized access. Access is strictly controlled and monitored. Ultrasound scanning data is stored physically on a secure hard drive with strict access controls.
Who We Share Data With:
Access is limited to essential staff. Our healthcare professionals access clinical data. Reception staff access only appointment details, never clinical records. Trusted third-party providers—such as secure cloud storage companies—are GDPR-compliant and provide system security only; they cannot access individual patient data. If we need to contact other healthcare providers in relation to your care, we will obtain written consent from you before doing so, allowing us to share necessary information to provide better healthcare.
Retention Period:
We retain records as required by UK law: typically 8 years after last interaction for adults, until age 25 for children, and up to 30 years in certain cases. We follow the appropriate legal guidelines for each patient file.
Your Rights:
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data, where legally possible, however, certain data must be retained due to legal requirements in relation to healthcare record keeping.
